Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
- We use your connected social accounts only to show your account and publish the posts you ask us to publish.
- We never sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- You can disconnect an account at any time, and we delete its access tokens when you do.
This policy explains what information GoCalendr (“GoCalendr”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our website at gocalendr.com and our app at app.gocalendr.com (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Content you create: captions, titles, hashtags, images and videos you add to a post, and the settings you choose (audience, comments, disclosure labels, scheduled date and time).
- Messages to us: anything you send when you contact support.
Information from TikTok when you connect your account
When you choose “Connect TikTok”, TikTok asks for your permission. If you agree, we receive:
| Data | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Your TikTok user ID (open_id), display name, username and profile photo | To show which TikTok account a post will be published to. |
| Your account’s posting options: available privacy levels, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are turned on, and your maximum video length | To show only the options your account allows, as TikTok requires, before you post. |
| Access and refresh tokens | To publish posts to your account when you ask us to. |
| Post status from TikTok (processing, published or failed) | To tell you whether your post went live. |
We request only the TikTok permissions we need: user.info.basic (basic profile) and video.publish (posting content you approve). We do not read your followers, messages, likes, watch history or other private TikTok data.
Information collected automatically
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in to your connected accounts. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: show your calendar, prepare your posts and publish them to the accounts you choose, at the time you choose.
- To show you each post’s publishing status and any errors.
- To keep the Service secure and fix problems.
- To respond to you when you contact us.
We only publish content after you review it and click Post or Schedule. We never post on your behalf without that action.
3. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- With the platform you’re posting to. When you publish to TikTok, we send your content and post settings to TikTok so they can publish it. TikTok’s use of that content is covered by TikTok’s Privacy Policy.
- With service providers who run our infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services (hosting). They may only use the data to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the Service.
4. How long we keep information
- Videos and images you upload to TikTok are passed through to TikTok during publishing. We don’t keep a copy after publishing is complete.
- TikTok access and refresh tokens are kept until you disconnect the account or the token expires. Disconnecting deletes them from our servers and asks TikTok to revoke them.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
5. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect TikTok at any time from the TikTok window in GoCalendr (“Disconnect”). You can also remove GoCalendr’s access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions.
- Ask for a copy or deletion of the information we hold about you by contacting us (see below). We’ll respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, such as correcting your data or objecting to how we use it. Contact us to use them.
6. Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, keep access tokens on our servers rather than in your browser, and limit who can access our systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Where data is stored
The Service runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age required to use TikTok or the other platforms you connect. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the Service before the changes take effect.
